Discovering Places – Unveiling Swale’s Hidden Heritage
Young people are being offered the chance to discover one of Swale's hidden gems with a special event organised as part of the London 2012 Cultural Olympiad's 'Discovering Places' project.
Mount Ephraim Gardens in Faversham is a perfect example of environmental heritage that is waiting to be discovered. With more than 300 years of family history, Mount Ephraim provides a picturesque setting in 10 acres of beautiful gardens with unique personal charm. This event, on Saturday July 24, 2010, will present free day out for young people to discover over 300 years of historic Heritage Gardens under one tour.
This event is sponsored by Kent Campaign for the 2012 Games Small Grant Fund and the Swale Green Grid.
