Cyclopark
This is being created within the former A2 corridor and land sandwiched between the old and new A2, providing more than 37ha of high-quality landscaped greenspace, restored habitats and open access.
Northfleet Urban Country Park, at the western end of the A2 corridor and connected via the redundant Gravesend West railway line will be restored and enhanced providing 9.5ha of high-quality greenspace.
Cyclopark will link existing green spaces such as Shorne Woods, Jeskyns, Ashenbank and Cobham, as well as the Ebbsfleet development, including the landmark sculpture and Ebbsfleet International Station.
As well as providing new green space, the park will provide 10ha of new habitat (woodland and chalk grassland), and 10km of cycleways.
